terms of service.

The agreement between you and Sinuslabs OÜ for your Patchhaus account, AI credits and this website. What the desktop app licenses you to build and sell is the End-User License Agreement. Last updated 20 September 2026.

Who we are

Sinuslabs OÜ runs Patchhaus: Sepapaja tn 6, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia, registry code 16567803, VAT EE102536223. Write to hello@sinuslabs.io about anything on this page.

What these terms cover

These terms are the agreement between you and us for your Patchhaus account, the AI credits you spend through it, and this website. By creating an account or using the service you accept them.

They are not the software licence. What you may build with the Patchhaus desktop app, what you may sell, and on which tier, is the End-User License Agreement, which you accept when you use the app. Where the two documents overlap, the EULA governs the software and these terms govern the service.

The Privacy Policy explains what we do with your personal data and is part of this agreement.

Patchhaus is in beta

Patchhaus is beta software. It has bugs, it changes without warning, and features can be removed. Keep your own backups of anything you care about — your projects live on your computer, and we cannot restore them for you.

We do not promise the service will be available at any particular time, and we may change or discontinue parts of it. If we discontinue a paid part of the service, we refund the unused portion.

Your account

You need an account to use AI features and to buy credits. Give us an address that reaches you, keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us if someone else gets into your account.

One account is for one person. Don't share it, don't resell access to it, and don't create accounts automatically.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and at least 13.

AI credits

AI features run on credits. One credit is one US cent of model usage, and a request costs what the underlying model costs us to run — bigger prompts and bigger models cost more. The app shows your balance and warns you before it runs out.

Accounts get an allowance that refills on a cycle: 20 credits on the Free plan, 1,250 on Lite. On Free the cycle is 30 days; on Lite it refills when your subscription renews. An allowance does not roll over — whatever you have not spent is replaced by the new allowance, not added to.

Credits you buy in a pack are different: they don't expire while your account is open, and they are spent only after the cycle allowance is used up.

Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred between accounts, and can't be exchanged for money. We can adjust what a request costs when model prices change; we'll say so before it takes effect.

Paying

Polar (Polar Software Inc.) sells Patchhaus subscriptions and credit packs as merchant of record. That means your contract for the purchase itself is with Polar: it takes your payment details, charges you, handles sales tax and VAT, and issues your invoice. We never see your card.

Subscriptions renew each month until you cancel. Cancel any time from your account or through Polar; you keep the paid plan until the end of the period you've already paid for, and we don't charge you again.

How tax appears depends on where you are, following the local convention. In the EU, the UK and most of the world the price we show already includes VAT — that figure is the total. In the United States, Canada and India sales tax is added on top at checkout. Either way Polar works out the rate from your billing address, itemises the tax before you confirm, and puts it on your receipt. If a payment fails or is reversed, we may suspend the paid features until it's settled.

Refunds and your right to withdraw

If you're a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. Credits are supplied immediately, so when you buy them you're asked to agree that supply starts at once — and at that point the withdrawal right ends for the credits you've spent. Credits you have not spent, we refund.

Outside that, write to us within 14 days of a charge if something went wrong and we'll sort it out. We'd rather refund you than argue.

Refunds are handled by Polar, since Polar took the payment.

Your projects and prompts

Your projects, patches, UI code and the plugins you export are yours. We claim no ownership of them and take no royalties.

To answer an AI request we send your prompt and the parts of your project it needs to the model provider you picked, through our server. We don't keep your prompts and we don't train on your work. The Privacy Policy sets out who receives what.

You are responsible for what you put into the service and what you do with what comes out — including checking that what you ship doesn't infringe anyone's rights. AI output is not guaranteed to be correct, original, or safe to ship.

What you may not do

Don't break the law with the service, don't try to get into other people's accounts or our systems, don't work around your credit balance, rate limits or the sign-in, and don't automate the service in a way that degrades it for other people.

Don't use the AI features to generate material that is illegal, or to build something whose purpose is to harm people.

Don't resell the service itself or offer it as your own product. Selling the plugins you build with it is exactly what it's for — that's the EULA's business, not this document's.

Suspension and closing your account

You can close your account at any time by writing to us. We delete or anonymise your data as the Privacy Policy describes; unused pack credits are refunded.

We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or that we must act on for legal reasons. Unless the law stops us, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to put it right first. If we close your account without cause, we refund what you've paid for and not used.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is". We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, and we don't promise that anything the AI produces will work or be suitable for release.

None of this removes rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live. Where those rights apply, they win.

Liability

We are liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, for death or personal injury, and for anything else the law does not let us limit.

Otherwise our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost projects, lost revenue or business interruption. Keep backups.

Changes to these terms

We update this page when the service changes, and change the date at the top. If a change matters to account holders we email them at least 14 days before it takes effect; if you don't accept it, close your account before then and we'll refund what you've paid for and not used.

Law and disputes

Estonian law applies and the courts of Tallinn have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer, this doesn't take away the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim in your own country's courts.

Consumers resident in Estonia can also go to the Consumer Disputes Committee (tarbijavaidluste komisjon) at ttja.ee.
